And with an Easter Project!<p> Wow! It's been a LOOONG time since I've been here! Life has been crazy busy, lots of changes and adjustments, but I'm ready to do some design team work again. When it's all set up, I'll be able to announce it here. </p><p>Meanwhile, here is a fun project I made for Easter! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcQDC8ptyvTDpG82qWtCp4-IrCYeNaiHbHrdFzVaRhDWgC5kOtxD4nWmvFryGGtHXLofYayNYKl9OoQDTq0jFlz3EzP8aLn0VW6c4ff7-4ujfLcb1hf38aDdbHvvVQd95806Wa8YlwX__lgixhp0hsMQZhS72fxmx_oM9kixqbZbSQYhGfyEswxWMegG4/s960/Easter%20wallhanging.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="720" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcQDC8ptyvTDpG82qWtCp4-IrCYeNaiHbHrdFzVaRhDWgC5kOtxD4nWmvFryGGtHXLofYayNYKl9OoQDTq0jFlz3EzP8aLn0VW6c4ff7-4ujfLcb1hf38aDdbHvvVQd95806Wa8YlwX__lgixhp0hsMQZhS72fxmx_oM9kixqbZbSQYhGfyEswxWMegG4/s320/Easter%20wallhanging.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br />This is an old ceiling fan blade that is 17" long. I used a sheet of scrapbook paper and modgepodge. I put the paper on at an angle to cover as much of the blade as I could, then used a scrap of it to cover the bottom piece. The seam showed more than I liked, so I added the plastic grass to disguise it.<p></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEZFQKYqsWZVfHnWfxKi56D5GWo4EfjKUaFnkt05n0u783pQhYC9pAUfdFKTKUJy1GjSJ8KR7TnDrHRtrmQvMTirRotkFR8_Cu_aNZJqOzAVihJ6gExhpZ8KmQPoYAKKA_8necFOWEgPSAIUvwMkCqP8MS9lAvKv13EARBkHI4JAwbrmdPFXTLzs1597s/s960/Easter%20wallhanging%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="720" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEZFQKYqsWZVfHnWfxKi56D5GWo4EfjKUaFnkt05n0u783pQhYC9pAUfdFKTKUJy1GjSJ8KR7TnDrHRtrmQvMTirRotkFR8_Cu_aNZJqOzAVihJ6gExhpZ8KmQPoYAKKA_8necFOWEgPSAIUvwMkCqP8MS9lAvKv13EARBkHI4JAwbrmdPFXTLzs1597s/s320/Easter%20wallhanging%202.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Isn't this bunny a cutie?!?! Today I'm sharing a fun card I made for my husband to give to a friend. I used vinyl for the image and the sentiment inside. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgScy38Uk4UcDWjNTzzQTptdPyjegwkUlM2qJ0IMisdGQzTjDMKG2W3mvFeKLXqGWAEbxqTUEpgrUaxmeBn-8LupuqXyloseWP5vWGgC0kQgSF7bvGt0RH28743TuCSp4QFcXUhEVo7HJc/s1600/thumbnail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="810" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgScy38Uk4UcDWjNTzzQTptdPyjegwkUlM2qJ0IMisdGQzTjDMKG2W3mvFeKLXqGWAEbxqTUEpgrUaxmeBn-8LupuqXyloseWP5vWGgC0kQgSF7bvGt0RH28743TuCSp4QFcXUhEVo7HJc/s320/thumbnail.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The inside sentiment is a Cricut cut that is perfect for the image I used:</div>

Today we have a new challenge at <a href="http://tuesdaythrowdown.blogspot.com/">Tuesday Throwdown</a> and our theme is "Embossing" and our sponsor is<br />
<img alt="http://www.drsdesigns.com/" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfdosqSmNHcSZB8CDuNyKV_l2KOOL5nwkWimvZ2XNLs4UgpmL4iu0t4GZhY3mxuX-DFPKkJ_plkeVen44P95lCn59DdSpBNmKCp5CcXPd9CE5KWfNJZ5w65gxR_SQitFxfSlqmsj30vx0/s1600/DRS+Logo.jpg" /><br />
<br />
I have a little card front I've made with our sponsor's "Stained Glass" image. After coloring it, I mounted it on an embossed frame stamp from Just Rite stamps.<br />

It doesn't really show up well, but all the words are cut from glitter paper. The ribbon also has shiny silver and glitter snowflakes on it. </span></div>

I used Spectrum Noir markers and two Cricut circles for his background. A little twine finished it off nicely.<br />

<br />
I had this fun image from Sasayaki Glitter already colored in my stash so when I found this cool Spider Web Gate in the Cricut Design Space, I knew what I wanted to do!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This gate is in Cricut's October 31st cartridge. The font for Wyatt is A Frightful Affair. </div>

This week at <a href="http://tuesdaythrowdown.blogspot.com/">Tuesday Throwdown</a> we are sponsored by All Dressed Up<br />
<img alt="https://www.etsy.com/shop/alldressedupstamps" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSScEhXHLT-RgNtx3MMeXlkEfdaxw8yXDmMGFeXZ13fgNTKRvVUAmwn4QXyE7yBmig8ei_2yiYCwS4y5zzkRv9ItBxyNkDC15QcI_4GQ-RUTxrGPjXSqC_uwK5zZoEHLnEarcnXzxEzAE/s200/PNG+larger+ADU+image.png" width="141" /> and our theme is "For A Cause". <br />
I know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but I kind of wanted to give a little attention to some other cause. I looked on the <a href="https://www.disabled-world.com/disability/awareness/ribbons.php">Awareness Ribbon Color Chart</a> and found that the Green Ribbon covered MANY causes, including Mental Health and Mental Illness. I chose this because I've just recently learned the "rest of the story" of a sweet little boy my friends adopted who occasionally had behavior problems. Those behaviors became more extreme and more frequent. They finally had to place him in a facility to get help. They found this poor little boy had been so abused in his early childhood that he had developed 15 different personalities! <b>FIFTEEN</b>! Imagine the horrible things he endured to cause this issue. Thankfully, he is getting the help he needs, but imagine all the people who can't pay for this treatment. <br />
<br />
Anyway, here is my card:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2fM-EtGUxTi-fdFGWxOv2a9AjqY_JKu3_3l_WE14q8l502REH1nWYHsMLXUItcDVLWFkOhYPpwxISl1JzAjGFr5gs7qAlcysuehWZqpKmi325BjVkMD8T_Hh1CcaBzdCVF5Dl33_YPVw/s1600/GEDC1526+%2528920x1024%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1024" data-original-width="920" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2fM-EtGUxTi-fdFGWxOv2a9AjqY_JKu3_3l_WE14q8l502REH1nWYHsMLXUItcDVLWFkOhYPpwxISl1JzAjGFr5gs7qAlcysuehWZqpKmi325BjVkMD8T_Hh1CcaBzdCVF5Dl33_YPVw/s320/GEDC1526+%2528920x1024%2529.jpg" width="287" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiao6sEcnrVUByh6qEXysfXM8zUvFMj16QEyg8KtNI2t-jGBvKPTitnh00OrEfbYayG79rSy9J0NOBDWQiyYY9dPMzCw6J-fboqbB7XdOjIGczojEZxTRPoL8wra3RJcmYC7UDImbZOwNI/s1600/GEDC1528+%25281024x867%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="867" data-original-width="1024" height="270" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiao6sEcnrVUByh6qEXysfXM8zUvFMj16QEyg8KtNI2t-jGBvKPTitnh00OrEfbYayG79rSy9J0NOBDWQiyYY9dPMzCw6J-fboqbB7XdOjIGczojEZxTRPoL8wra3RJcmYC7UDImbZOwNI/s320/GEDC1528+%25281024x867%2529.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I used our sponsor's image "Oriental Girl" and colored her with Spectrum Noir markers. The ribbons are a Circut cut. The top floral paper is a scrap and the name is gone. The bottom paper is a Cricut print. <br />
<br />
I felt it needed a little bling, but no more busyness, so I used Glitter Gel Pens to highlight the ribbons and various places on the image.<br />
<br />
So thanks for stopping by and hearing a little bit of my heart. I hope you'll join us with your projects and your cause! Sarahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16287897151044148660noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311637175046377535.post-43247907990573206552018-09-29T11:00:00.001-05:002018-09-29T11:00:18.264-05:00More than just a little bit late!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
OK, this is a lesson in not procrastinating. I posted my card to our DT page in plenty of time and then instead of going ahead to make my post on my blog and scheduling it, I just started a new draft and added the picture intending to come back to it. Then I got sick with what I thought was the flu but turned out to be a combination to a UTI and a bacterial infection. So here I am, 2 weeks later, scheduling my next DT post and finally getting this one posted! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This sweet image is from our own Crafty Girl and our theme at the time was to add some texture. I added a strip of burlap ribbon and then used my distressing tool to rough up the edges. Plus a few little gemstones. </div>

<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I found these trivets and Dollar Tree. Weeding this was a lot of work, I won't lie. I had to recut a few letters and add them in. And then there was this "s" that I looked and looked for and didn't find until I was doing laundry! I made another trivet that said "Nana's Kitchen" and I'll be changing one particular font before I make any more! </span></div>

I went on vacation and forgot to set this post to publish yesterday!!!<br />
<br />
<br />
This week at Tuesday Throwdown our theme is "Book Lover or Book worm" and we are sponsored by<br />
<img alt="http://www.mygrafico.com/digital-stamps/cat_95.html" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEwFkgq8rbHjLumHZCbXujiu473ACUjo71579LBjHziOtSpRMbnorUi9giQGPYdllnm-zhUEh6c7pqqSaYKnevc4ZXwTYZ20Uou3lm6XicpIEjFl6mfbbJ-krP6PjYY4WHy5R4DknWNqg/s1600/150X150CLIP.jpg" /><br />
<br />
I've used an image from our sponsor to make a small bulletin board to use at work:<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The image is approximately 7" x 7" and the letters are from the "A Child's Year" cartridge. I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers and hand cut it out.</div>

<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> I thought this image from Crafty Girls was so cute for my first Halloween card of the year!</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I colored the image with a combination of Spectrum Noir pens and gel pens. Again, I got to use up scraps of paper, even the black glitter paper! Then I added some fun sequins from Studio Katia. The "Boo" is a Cricut cut, made twice and offset with a little faux stitching with an orange gel pen. I'm really not very good at that! lol Can't keep them even. Oh well, I like the card anyway! </span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I've used an image I found in my file that I had already colored and it matched perfectly with some pretty paper from that stack of 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 cardstock that I've determined to use up! </span><br />

<br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> Then I found a scrap laying on my work desk from a previous project that coordinated well. In looking for something to mat the image, I went through my box of diecuts that were extra or rejected from other projects and found this half circle and the filigree cut. I love using up scraps! It makes me feel like I'm cleaning out clutter! </span><br />

<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">On the inside I used the writing feature of the Cricut Explore and Violet satin marker. </span><br />

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The background paper is from a 4.5 x 6.5 Die Cuts With a View pack called "Pocket Full of Posies". I've had this pack for YEARS! I think I mentioned in another post that I pulled out a pile of 4.5 x 6.5 and 6x6 pads that I've had forever and very seldom use. I've committed to using them for my cards as much as possible, so here's 2 now. Wow...really getting after that stack, aren't I? </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Anyway....the white diecut is a Spellbinder's die and the pink diecut is a Cricut cut, circle doily from the Edge to Edge cartridge set. I've added some clear "Raindrops" and "Iridescent Bubbles" from Studio Katia for a little sparkle. </div>

Thanks for stopping by and I sure hope you'll join us this week!</div>

This week we are sponsored by our very own Kim Sherrod! Our theme is "Make An Interactive Card". </span><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"> This is a new one for me, so I was truly challenged! But I had so much fun! </span><br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I used a great video from Lawn Fawn <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoiThHoXeQ0">here</a> to make this card.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Isn't that cute?!?! The little reindeer is from My Grafico and I had him in my file of pictures I had previously colored and ready to go. The cute trees are Cricut cuts from "Create A Critter". </span></div>

It's Tuesday so that means another awesome challenge at <a href="http://tuesdaythrowdown.blogspot.com/">Tuesday Throwdown</a>! This week our theme is "Tag It" and we are sponsored by</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img alt="http://thepapershelter.com/" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOjayPOunWeEFWkzMXRXPsGiPh4Kl5gfX4qgdiG5gRmTMEoaVouh5O1UbSK-BeMXUNhUve2gvbUtFEvqBd0YWzYkPVl1cvTKVRe89IFXNbgVpxoOzn0iKj8wSCep8SzQ2NtjJuq4asfvw/s1600/TPS_Adv200x200.jpg" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've used the beautiful "French Brunch Paper: and their precolored image "Yummy" for my card</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpCtP_OTSkIDeXo-uEwCXmwt6w5DmNoLJEhj9L29ovLIwsCxi82A0ymqbZmGYGT2pTFrY3pMLasKB64OyMP_hPfajc-jmTNPUP-eAeL_Brx8l2ECIGw1DQfDKYcB75Tugyc_VAx1wTk04/s1600/GEDC1473+%25281024x768%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="766" data-original-width="688" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpCtP_OTSkIDeXo-uEwCXmwt6w5DmNoLJEhj9L29ovLIwsCxi82A0ymqbZmGYGT2pTFrY3pMLasKB64OyMP_hPfajc-jmTNPUP-eAeL_Brx8l2ECIGw1DQfDKYcB75Tugyc_VAx1wTk04/s320/GEDC1473+%25281024x768%2529.jpg" width="287" /></a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I printed the "Yummy" image on their pretty paper and on another piece of scrap. Then I fussy cut the image on the scrap and added it to the original print with pop dots for some added dimension.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The tag is a Cricut cut and I've used the write then cut feature for it and for the inside.</div>
<br />

We have a new challenge this week at <a href="http://tuesdaythrowdown.blogspot.com/">Tuesday Throwdown</a> and our theme is "Create Your Own Background". I've created the background on the inside of my card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm excited to share this card with you today! I saw these super cute "Screen Cards" in the Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine and I decided I could recreate those in Design Space. Here's the magazine picture:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhGF_OrX84bABiZLUz0uHOSXNnFPNreJohqm9yKg7vjqg7DHT_1QS3PnzbLg3oYUCw54Nm4c2qsHBAhFaW_fSIn1CdLOTB14drKVhqwLAqKaQ1crp_W-rOWiSgxpMiqPYcnLyObmazymg/s1600/screencards-magazine.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="608" data-original-width="1080" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhGF_OrX84bABiZLUz0uHOSXNnFPNreJohqm9yKg7vjqg7DHT_1QS3PnzbLg3oYUCw54Nm4c2qsHBAhFaW_fSIn1CdLOTB14drKVhqwLAqKaQ1crp_W-rOWiSgxpMiqPYcnLyObmazymg/s640/screencards-magazine.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And after much pasting, slicing and dicing, here is my first one:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love how it turned out and it was so fun! I've created the background on the inside with a foam daisy stamp that I randomly stamped on my paper before cutting it for the panels. The poem on the left was done with the writing feature of the Cricut. <span style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: transparent; color: black; display: inline !important; float: none; font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;">Super easy and perfect for my card! All the diecuts are Cricut images. </span> The poem says: "Mother's love is peace. It need not be acquired. It need not be deserved." by Erich Fromm.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

It's time for another sweet challenge at Tuesday Throwdown! This week our theme is "Crop Your Image" and we are sponsored by<br />
<img alt="https://www.etsy.com/shop/KittyBeeDesign" height="66" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj07n6lIHnKs5RlemjyZGJUOV_uNO5cHfjCHbgtwmunY06iWuzXWXBN0gIEVpR1fMjfJKgc1W80dE7q6rEiKhv-ba9QuU1JdxtprZHiVftuHWutsbVGZ94E-SVat1CHz4KkxKUjqsgPw-s/s200/KittyBeeDesigns-Banner.jpg" width="200" /><br />
<br />
I've used our sponsor's cute "Winter Panda" for my card. Here is the original digi: <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJUrGza8NKxnglgnatWmV7cifrIsaESGMwF942h5NnPz9_i5wLtUzZjPnVpx0QhCmftLS_HF9XzdWibOepZXpKk8UMr3WsuENOITAzfEeg4pQtP0ohNsQ6MvMXMlEOa6f00EnTmrdzXCQ/s1600/13_ETSY_Winter_CNY_Panda_2017.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJUrGza8NKxnglgnatWmV7cifrIsaESGMwF942h5NnPz9_i5wLtUzZjPnVpx0QhCmftLS_HF9XzdWibOepZXpKk8UMr3WsuENOITAzfEeg4pQtP0ohNsQ6MvMXMlEOa6f00EnTmrdzXCQ/s200/13_ETSY_Winter_CNY_Panda_2017.png" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
and here is my card with the cropped image:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWJjBPUgsu-iamINRVwIXcuuYWtbSOGarW7c5nOQgFyif0oCFKJVofb5nlYO2puUw1sCX0AACcnRDaxtNkADweIqm-c2sxYIEbCJNKEUJLHk3KRXkawUbOvwU1NxdMky4OLqqWw06XoS8/s1600/GEDC1443+%25281024x768%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="768" data-original-width="1024" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWJjBPUgsu-iamINRVwIXcuuYWtbSOGarW7c5nOQgFyif0oCFKJVofb5nlYO2puUw1sCX0AACcnRDaxtNkADweIqm-c2sxYIEbCJNKEUJLHk3KRXkawUbOvwU1NxdMky4OLqqWw06XoS8/s400/GEDC1443+%25281024x768%2529.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I didn't do any coloring this time and used papers with lots of color. The sentiment is made with the Write and Cut feature of the Cricut Explore, then mounted on "Doyley Circles", Cricut cuts. from <i>The First Few Years</i> cartridge. The paper is from Studio 18 and the ribbon is from American Crafts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you join us this week!</div>

This week our theme is "Critter Crazy" and we are sponsored by:<div>
<img alt="http://www.mygrafico.com/digital-stamps/cat_95.html" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEwFkgq8rbHjLumHZCbXujiu473ACUjo71579LBjHziOtSpRMbnorUi9giQGPYdllnm-zhUEh6c7pqqSaYKnevc4ZXwTYZ20Uou3lm6XicpIEjFl6mfbbJ-krP6PjYY4WHy5R4DknWNqg/s1600/150X150CLIP.jpg" /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I've used 3 images from their Woodland Critters set for my card.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinV9TwuXfltQbim9PTq770lnkdd0AfDN-Kp8tKRIcIGgQwLVdZu38W6UVgJ0OJADPXv8UEHxt0pAtP1sOBwNCtIQP_02uXbx20CGZvanJWk0viEzjg1brBHmDkk3tlaDP86JavJv_19ec/s1600/GEDC1441+%25281024x781%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="781" data-original-width="1024" height="305" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinV9TwuXfltQbim9PTq770lnkdd0AfDN-Kp8tKRIcIGgQwLVdZu38W6UVgJ0OJADPXv8UEHxt0pAtP1sOBwNCtIQP_02uXbx20CGZvanJWk0viEzjg1brBHmDkk3tlaDP86JavJv_19ec/s400/GEDC1441+%25281024x781%2529.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I like the simpleness of this one! I printed the image and sentiment on the card base and images only a second time on scrap paper before coloring and hand cutting them out. A little fun bling from Studio Katia and it's all done! Well, the outside is, anyway. Inside is a Congratulations stamp.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

(I tried to use all the colors included in the bling sets. They're so fun!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
. This picture doesn't do the colors justice.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I colored the image with Spectrum Noir pencils and added a strip of shimmery yellow ribbon. The lavender mat is glitter cardstock, for just a little more shine!</div>
