Halloween Step Card

Hi!  Today I have my second Halloween card I need for grandkids.  I only need 3, so I'm almost there!  Halloween is not really a holiday I celebrate, but my grandkids still like to get cards for it and it's a reason to work in my craft room!  I sure have been having a hard time getting some crafting time lately, so I'm tickled to get another one done.

For this one I chose to make a  side step card.  It took me awhile to recall the dimensions for scoring the folds. All the
papers used are from scraps.

This super tree cut is from Simply Scarecrows and the sentiment is from Ultimate Creative Sampler.   All other cuts are from Paper Doll Dress Up.  I added some little pieces of twine in the tree to resemble mossy webs hanging down.

I added a Jack-O-Lantern die cut from my stash, a few marker accents and there you go!  A fun and easy card to make!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope your week is full of blessings and you see God working this week!

2nd Breast Cancer Awareness Card

OK, here's my second card.  The stamp is from K Andrews.

I cut a doilie in half for the edges and the ribbon is a scrap from my stash.

On the inside I used another 1/2 of a doilie cut in half again for the corners. The mat is preinstalled on the Imagine and inked with pink.

Breast Cancer Support Cards

Hello!  I have just a couple of quick cards I made this afternoon.  Very simple, but pretty.

The sentiment is computer generated and just add strips of ribbon! The breast cancer ribbon is actually mounted on top of a wider pink polka-dot ribbon. Very CAS, don't you think?

I've tried to show all the shine to this card.  I like pink and white together, so this card really appeals to me.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'd love it if you left me a comment!  I hope you have a blessed day!

My Sheri Crafts Challenge #96

Hello again!  I hope you are having a great, Autumn weekend!  I love this time of year!  It's cooler, we finally have had some nice rain and the trees are actually showing some color.  I was so afraid they wouldn't.

But it's time for a new challenge with My Sheri Crafts and we are looking for anything Halloween Related.  I've made my first Halloween card this year for one of my grandkids.  It's also the first project I've made with my Imagine Buccanneer cartridge and the first time I've printed paper!

The "happy halloween" is from Holiday Cakes, but the "Have A" is from Billionaire and I used my Gypsy to weld the letters and make a shadow cut.

Isn't he a snazzy pirate with his purple feather?  I cut all the layers and pop-dotted them so he has lots of dimension.

<-  And the inside.  I hand wrote the "Or You;ll" on the sword.  On both mats I used a distressing tool from Creative Memories, inked the edges with Tim Holz "Rusty Hinge" distress ink, then lightly wet the edges and scrunched it up.

What do you think?  I kind of like it and it was lots of fun to make. Now it's your turn!  I'd love to see your Halloween creations linked up at My Sheri Crafts!  Be sure to check out all the Design Team inspiration and our guest designer's beautiful work!

Football Shaped card

Hi!  I'm so glad you stopped by today!  Well how about some more Football!?!?!?!  It's that time of year and I don't know about your  town, but in my hometown it's a BIG deal!

I made another card for another one of my Sunday School kids.  He also plays Mighty Mite football and is a huge fan of the sport so it was pretty easy to decide what to make for his card.
I used my Gypsy to weld two of the shadow cuts of the football on the Sportsmania cartridge.  It's embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and all edges are distressed with Antique Linen distressing ink.

I made the sentiment on my Gypsy using Pooh Font.  I really liked the completed card and hope you do  too.  It was fun to make and I really like the embossing.

Again, I appreciate that you stopped by and would love to recive a comment!  Hope you have a blessed day!

Hello Pumpkin!

Wow, is it already the end of September?  Unbelievable!  I don't know where the time has gone, but I do know "It's Picking Time" at My Sheri Crafts!  Include an apple or a pumpkin on your project and join us!  I made a fun pumpkin-shaped card.
This cut is from Everyday Paper Dolls at 4" and I embossed it with a woodgrain folder.  The base is made with two of the pumpkin cuts just slightly larger, sized and welded with my Gypsy.

The little tag is a Cuttlebug die and I used alpha stamps from Studio G for the sentiment.  A little raffia finishes it off.

Another of the same cut, slightly smaller for the inside and I trimmed off the vines.  All edges are inked with Studio G ink.
I thought it turned out really cute!  Be sure to go check out all my Design Team sisters projects.  They do such fantastic work!  I hope you will join us with  your pumpkins or apples and see if you win an Ooh-La-La award or maybe even be our next Guest Designer! I can hardly wait to see your creations!
