Creative Craft Challenge

Here I am, a day late again!  The new challenge at Creative Craft Challenges started yesterday.  Our theme is "Anything Goes" this time and we are sponsored by
  Kathryne has some really cute digis!  Here is my card using "Autumn Friends"

Striped paper is some I've had for years.  Can't remember if it came from LTD Commodities or was on clearance at Hobby Lobby.  Anyway, it's old!

Thank You Sew Much - My Sheri Crafts #120

Hello!  Happy Saturday!  We are having some beautiful Autumn weather.  I love this time of year!  The weather is cooling off and makes me think of evenings cozied up in my chair cross-stitching.  So this week's challenge at My Sheri Crafts is perfect!  Sue chose the theme "Stitch In Time"-make a project which includes a sewing theme. 

I chose this cute bear digi, "Patch", from Stamping Boutique to make a Thank You Card:

 I used Spellbinders dies to cut him out.  The patterned paper is from Melody Ross.

He's colored with my Spectrum Noir markers and I used a silver glitter gel pen to accent some of the dots around him.

 The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and some gems from my stash.  I've used some of them on the corners of the image cut, too.  I've anchored the sentiment with a little bit of ribbon and some flower brads.

The inside is completed with scraps!  I really like how this card turned out!

My 30th Anniversary and A Mousey Birthday

Happy Anniversary to my sweet husband!  It's our 30th today! 

 This picture is from our 25th, but we pretty much look like this still :)  If we go crazy and get new pics taken on this anniversary, I'll share them later.  I love this man!!!!

But now I need to move on to our Tuesday Throwdown challenge.  This week our theme is Clean and Simple and we are sponsored by A Whiff of Joy.  She let us use some of her super cute images to create our projects. 

I used a white card base and some papers I found in my stash that were in a little 4x4 pad like a sticky note pad.  I have no idea where they came from.  I turned the striped squares in opposite directions and cut one of the polka dot sheets in half. 

Isn't he just as cute as he can be???  I colored him up with my Spectrum Noir pens.

I've had these plastic pieces in my stash for YEARS, just waiting for the right use.

Another Football Birthday card

I have a super easy card today.  Easy, but I really like it!  This is for one of my Sunday School kids:

 

 I used the "Frame" feature on the Sports Mania cartridge, sized with my Gypsy.   The sentiment stamp is from Cardz TV.

This "Go Wild" cut is from Create a Critter and I matched up the font fairly closely with Cricut Craft Room Basics.  Our team here is the Wildcats and our colors are black & gold)

Girls just wanna' have fun!

 Hello!  I just have a quick card to share today.  The other day I was sitting at my worktable, looking at various digis laying around that I have colored and left laying there.  So I decided it's time to use them!  This is a Whoopsi Daisy image that I had colored with my colored pencils.  Isn't she a cutie?

The patterned paper is from my stash, bought from a friend who was selling all of her stuff.  The image is mounted on a Fancy Florals Spellbinders cut, trimmed with lace given to me from another friend.  White Paper Studio flowers, dyed with alcohol inks were added.  In the center of each flower I used a brad from my stash.  Around the digi I added glass beads, then on the brads in the flowers I added a single pearl.  In the corners I

used stamps from Just Rite. 

I was really pleased with the result and happy to use up one more of the digi's I've left laying around!

Native American Harvest Card

Hello my friends!  Glad you came by today.  At My Sheri Crafts we are recognizing Native American Day, September 27.  Peach has challenged us to create a project inspired by the Native American culture.  In my head I saw a Dreamcatcher....my hands didn't know what to do with that vision.  So I used two images from Digi Darla, Sweet Indian Harvest and Curly Pumpkin to make a harvest card.

 

I was running out of black ink in my printer, so the digi is printed in kind of a gray shade and it looks blurry in the picture, but it isn't in real life!  I colored the images with Spectrum Noir markers, cut it out with a Spellbinders die and added a charm from Bo Bunny, along with a little ribbon from my stash.  The sentiment stamp is from Pink By Design.  That's it!

Strawberry Gift Bag - Tuesday Throwdown #164

Hello my friends!  Thank you for coming by today!  It's Team a's turn for this week's challenge at Tuesday Throwdown and our theme is.......Anything Goes!  We are sponsored this week by My Heart Pieces and I used their "Baby Bees" image to make a little gift bag.

I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and cut it out with a Spellbinder's die, then inked the edges with red.  I added a little bit of red and yellow twine from The Twinery, then mounted the image onto a piece of green gingham cloth from an upholstery/drapery sample book that a friend gave me.  That is mounted onto a piece of red cardstock, then a sheet of red gingham paper.  Some red gems in the corners from my stash finish off the bag.

 

I decided a strawberry gift tag would be the perfect finishing touch.  The cut is from Savory (I think) and I used my Gypsy to weld and create the base.
