Two More Valentines

I have a couple more valentines to share today. The first one is from Cricut's Intricate Cut Quotes and inside I used the writing feature.

This one is a simple scalloped heart card base with the Valentine Bear from Teddy Bear Parade

Again, I used the writing feature on the inside.

One more to make and I'm done!

Word Collage Valentine

This card base and envelope are from Cricut's Valentine's Day cartridge.  I added a scalloped square, also a Cricut cut with the Valentine Day from Word Collage cut in red vinyl.

The really small words in the word collage didn't come out well for me in the vinyl, so I didn't use the whole cut.  But I still achieved the look I was going for.

Truckload of Valentines

I've made a few Valentine cards in the past couple of weeks, so I want to share them with you.  Here's a fun one I made using the dump truck from Cricut's Beep Beep cartridge:

I duplicated the card base, welded a square in the windshield to make it solid and duplicated that, flipped it and welded the those two pieces together to make the base.  I used the basic heart shape from Design Studio and the writing feature to make my "conversation hearts" and tucked them under the top layer.

I used my computer to print the sentiment on some clear sticker paper because I forgot to use the writing feature on the inside before I cut it out.

I really like how this one turned out, I think it's pretty cute!

"Rawr means I Love You"

It's Tuesday and that means another fun challenge at Tuesday Throwdown!  This week our them is the ever popular "Anything Goes" and our sponsor is.........(insert drumroll here).........

Lawn Fawn sent us all some sweet stamps to work with and I got to use the cutest little dinosaur stamp set called "Rawr".

I've colored the little Dino with Spectrum Noir markers and cut him out.  The diecuts are Cricut cuts that worked perfectly with the stamp.  The twine is also a gift from our sponsor and was the inspiration for my color scheme.  The papers are all scrap pieces from my stash.

This is the cute sentiment stamp that came with the set.

I think this will be a perfect valentine for one of my Zebra Buddies!

Thanks for stopping by and I sure hope to see you join us!

A cute Owl Christmas

Good Morning!  Today we have a new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown with the theme "Ribbons and/or Lace"  and our super sponsor this week is

 https://www.etsy.com/shop/KittyBeeDesign
I've used their image "Santa Owl" for my card.

I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers, cut it out with a Spellbinders die and mounted it on another Spellbinders die of gold foil cardstock.  The background paper is a beautiful freebie from the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine and the centers of the flowers are also gold foil.  I added a strip of lace and ribbon with a ribbon bow and another bow of gold filigree thread.

The inside sentiment is done with the Cricut write then cut feature:

Thanks for checking in!

Thank You Ever So Much

This week at Tuesday Throwdown we are sponsored by
 https://www.etsy.com/shop/SasayakiGlitter

and our theme is "So Very Thankful"
I've used our sponsor's image "Dorrie" for my thank you card:

The image is colored with Spectrum Noir markers and distressed with Tim Holtz distress ink.  The sentiment stamp is one of the super sweet freebies from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.  The papers are all scraps from my stash and I'm not sure what paper pad they came from.  A little bling and a feather, also from my stash, finished it off.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll join us this week!
