Hello! Happy Grandparent's Day!
I have a card to share today that's really a different style for me. What do you think? I used my Gypsy to make a card base and welded a birdcage shadow to the edge. The shadow cut is from Serenade cartridge.
This is how the card looks laying flat. I added a strip of lace from a bag of goodies a friend gave me. I distressed the edges with rose pink and antique linen. As you can see I need some practice on that! :)
This sentiment is my own and computer generated. The lables are Just Rite Floral Ovals. The charm is from my stash.
Here is another version of the card with a sentiment from Just Rite stamps. I may use this for a friend who will be moving. I also added another strip of the ribbon across the lace.
This stamp is from the Christmas Wishes set. Obviously this isn't a Christmas card, but I really like the font..jpg)
The birdcage and bird are from Lori's Garden Imagine cartridge. I used all the layers and changed the papers from blue to pink. I had some fun playing with that! I'm still pretty much a novice with the Imagine.
Anyway, I'm please with how it turned out. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!
