Today I have a sweet little card to share with you for our new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown. This week we are sponsored by Lawn Fawn and our theme is "Interactive Card".
This isn't the card I had originally planned, but it's what I ended up with and I think it came out kinda cute, so it worked out after all! It has 2 slides, just for added fun. lol
Our awesome sponsor provided some of their sweet product for us and I used their "Hello Sunshine" set. I received a set of clear stamps and dies to cut out all the shapes. I loved this set!!! Thank you Lawn Fawn!!!!
I hope you'll join us!

Stained Glass Frame Card
Good morning! Today we have a new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown and our theme is "Embossing" and our sponsor is

I have a little card front I've made with our sponsor's "Stained Glass" image. After coloring it, I mounted it on an embossed frame stamp from Just Rite stamps.
I'm thinking this will be a sympathy card, but still deciding for sure.
I hope you'll join us this week at Tuesday Throwdown!

Winter Sparkle at Tuesday Throwdown
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Let's start off the 2019 with a new fun challenge at Tuesday Throwdown! We are sponsored this week by

and our theme is "Winter Sparkle". Now who doesn't love a little sparkle on their projects??
I love snowmen and our sponsor provided this sweet boy that I chose to work with:
He's called "Country Snowman" and I've colored him with Spectrum Noir markers. The sentiment is a Cricut cut that originally said "Snow Much Fun" and I added the Thank You with a Cricut Font. I already closed out the program and don't remember the name of the font, though! It doesn't really show up well, but all the words are cut from glitter paper. The ribbon also has shiny silver and glitter snowflakes on it.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll join us!!!

Webbed Gate Card

I had this fun image from Sasayaki Glitter already colored in my stash so when I found this cool Spider Web Gate in the Cricut Design Space, I knew what I wanted to do!
This gate is in Cricut's October 31st cartridge. The font for Wyatt is A Frightful Affair.
I love that! The monsters have arrived to Trick or Treat!
And then I found this card base in my stash that I had done last year and never used. It's made with the writing feature of the Cricut.
Super quick and easy when you find these things in your stash! Hahaha!
Thanks for checking in. I hope you'll join us for this fun challenge!
I've entered this card here:
Aud Sentiments - funny sentiment (inside)
Bitten by the Bug2 - Halloween
Craftng From the Heart - anything goes
Creative Craft Cottage - pretty in pink or Halloween
Creative Moments - anything goes with twist "Spooktacular"

Green Hope Ribbon
Hello! This week at Tuesday Throwdown we are sponsored by All Dressed Up
and our theme is "For A Cause".
I know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but I kind of wanted to give a little attention to some other cause. I looked on the Awareness Ribbon Color Chart and found that the Green Ribbon covered MANY causes, including Mental Health and Mental Illness. I chose this because I've just recently learned the "rest of the story" of a sweet little boy my friends adopted who occasionally had behavior problems. Those behaviors became more extreme and more frequent. They finally had to place him in a facility to get help. They found this poor little boy had been so abused in his early childhood that he had developed 15 different personalities! FIFTEEN! Imagine the horrible things he endured to cause this issue. Thankfully, he is getting the help he needs, but imagine all the people who can't pay for this treatment.
Anyway, here is my card:
I used our sponsor's image "Oriental Girl" and colored her with Spectrum Noir markers. The ribbons are a Circut cut. The top floral paper is a scrap and the name is gone. The bottom paper is a Cricut print.
I felt it needed a little bling, but no more busyness, so I used Glitter Gel Pens to highlight the ribbons and various places on the image.
So thanks for stopping by and hearing a little bit of my heart. I hope you'll join us with your projects and your cause!

What's More "Up In The Air" than aHalloween Broom?
Hello there! It's Tuesday again and that means another fun challenge at Tuesday Throwdown! This week we are sponsored by our very own Crafty Girl and our theme is "Up In The Air"
.
I thought this image from Crafty Girls was so cute for my first Halloween card of the year!
.

I thought this image from Crafty Girls was so cute for my first Halloween card of the year!
I colored the image with a combination of Spectrum Noir pens and gel pens. Again, I got to use up scraps of paper, even the black glitter paper! Then I added some fun sequins from Studio Katia. The "Boo" is a Cricut cut, made twice and offset with a little faux stitching with an orange gel pen. I'm really not very good at that! lol Can't keep them even. Oh well, I like the card anyway!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll join us!

A Lovely Birthday
This week at Tuesday Throwdown our theme is "Anything Goes"! We are sponsored by
I've used an image I found in my file that I had already colored and it matched perfectly with some pretty paper from that stack of 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 cardstock that I've determined to use up!
Then I found a scrap laying on my work desk from a previous project that coordinated well. In looking for something to mat the image, I went through my box of diecuts that were extra or rejected from other projects and found this half circle and the filigree cut. I love using up scraps! It makes me feel like I'm cleaning out clutter!
On the inside I used the writing feature of the Cricut Explore and Violet satin marker.
That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!

It's a Heatwave!
This week at Tuesday Throwdown our theme is "Heatwave" - use "HOT" colors. We are sponsored by
and I've used their awesome stamp set "In Bloom: Shirley's Blooms" to make a 50th anniversary card:

The background paper is from a 4.5 x 6.5 Die Cuts With a View pack called "Pocket Full of Posies". I've had this pack for YEARS! I think I mentioned in another post that I pulled out a pile of 4.5 x 6.5 and 6x6 pads that I've had forever and very seldom use. I've committed to using them for my cards as much as possible, so here's 2 now. Wow...really getting after that stack, aren't I?
Anyway....the white diecut is a Spellbinder's die and the pink diecut is a Cricut cut, circle doily from the Edge to Edge cartridge set. I've added some clear "Raindrops" and "Iridescent Bubbles" from Studio Katia for a little sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by and I sure hope you'll join us this week!

Color Inspiration at Tuesday Throwdown
Good morning! This week at Tuesday Throwdown we are sponsored by
and we have a color inspiration challenge.
Recently I dug out all of my 6x6 and 4x6 paper, stacked it up and resolved to use it! I actually found a sheet in that stack with all of these colors in it!
The image is from our sponsor and called "Perfect Poppies". These colors look so much better in real life!
Pretty simple, but sweet. Thanks for stopping by!

One Happy Reindeer Card
Time for another challenge at Tuesday Throwdown! This week we are sponsored by our very own Kim Sherrod! Our theme is "Make An Interactive Card". This is a new one for me, so I was truly challenged! But I had so much fun!
I used a great video from Lawn Fawn here to make this card.
Isn't that cute?!?! The little reindeer is from My Grafico and I had him in my file of pictures I had previously colored and ready to go. The cute trees are Cricut cuts from "Create A Critter".
And he's so excited about getting to lead the sleigh, he jumps and spins all around!
After taking pictures of the card I decided it just really needed something else. I played with lace, with ribbon and finally found these sweet snowflake rhinestones from Darice in my stash. Voila'!
I love it now! Just the touch I needed! And I made sure Rudolph could still jump and spin all around with no problem.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to join in this one, it's really fun!
I haven't joined any challenges for awhile, so decided I'd enter this little guy here:
Aud Sentiments - anything goes with a sentiment
Crafting By Designs - Get ready for Christmas
The Crafter's Cafe - for a child
Whoopsi Daisy - anything goes with option of hand colored image.
The Outlawz - Festive Fridays

"Tag It" at Tuesday Throwdown
It's Tuesday so that means another awesome challenge at Tuesday Throwdown! This week our theme is "Tag It" and we are sponsored by

I've used the beautiful "French Brunch Paper: and their precolored image "Yummy" for my card
I printed the "Yummy" image on their pretty paper and on another piece of scrap. Then I fussy cut the image on the scrap and added it to the original print with pop dots for some added dimension.
The tag is a Cricut cut and I've used the write then cut feature for it and for the inside.
Thanks for checking in! I hope to see you join in the fun this week!

My First "Screen" Card
We have a new challenge this week at Tuesday Throwdown and our theme is "Create Your Own Background". I've created the background on the inside of my card.
I'm excited to share this card with you today! I saw these super cute "Screen Cards" in the Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine and I decided I could recreate those in Design Space. Here's the magazine picture:
And after much pasting, slicing and dicing, here is my first one:
I love how it turned out and it was so fun! I've created the background on the inside with a foam daisy stamp that I randomly stamped on my paper before cutting it for the panels. The poem on the left was done with the writing feature of the Cricut. Super easy and perfect for my card! All the diecuts are Cricut images. The poem says: "Mother's love is peace. It need not be acquired. It need not be deserved." by Erich Fromm.
