Some Vinyl work at Work!

I installed an older version of the "Sure Cuts A Lot" program on my laptop so we could get our program logos cut out with the Cricut.

IBBC & IBCL stands for Itty Bitty Basketball and Itty Bitty Cheerleading, our program for kindergarten kids.

This is the program we use for 1st - 7th graders.  We love how these turned out!  Lots of projects rolling around in our heads now!

Life is Like A Piano...

Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at My Sheri Crafts and this time it's my turn to host and I chose "Celebrate the Piano".  September is "Piano Month", so let's see cards or projects with a music theme or musical instrument--preferably a piano!

I recently bought a stack of picture frames at an auction and I chose to alter this beautiful black and gold frame:

This sentiment is on a digi stamp from Digi Darla, but I designed it in Silhouette studio to cut from vinyl and put on the top of the glass to make a 3D effect.  The piano is a "A Child's Year" Cricut cut, the background paper is from Anna Griffin and I finished it off with some Primo flowers.

You can kind of see the 3D effect in this view.

I hope you'll head over to My Sheri Crafts to check out all the wonderful inspiration there and join us!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Hellooooooo!  It's time for a new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown and we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week!  Make a Teacher Appreciation gift and we are sponsored by The Cutting Cafe.

I bought a stack of empty picture frames at an auction recently with ideas swirling in my mind! Here is my first project with one!

The DP is from Provocraft, the sentiment is computer generated but I first saw it at Scrap-a-licious Times.   The tag in the corner is from The Cutting Cafe, Teacher Appreciation Circle Set.  I added a sticker from Mary Englebreit and some hemp twine.  The apple in the lower corner came from a button cover set that I bought at a yard sale.

This was a really fun project and I thought it came out pretty cute!  Now....to find a teacher to give it to!  :0)

Come on over to Tuesday Throwdown and join in the fun!

T-shirts with iron on vinyl

Wow, where did the spring weather go?  It looks so pretty out today, but that breeze is cold!

Well, I thought today I would post the t-shirts I made Kaylee and Lexi, my granddaughters.  The pictures don't show the shine in the vinyl very well.  I used iron on sparkly gold vinyl that I bought from Amazing Graphics Ebay store.  They have a great video of how to work with iron on vinyl here.  The glittery gold they are using in the video is the same vinyl I used on these shirts.  It's really pretty.
I designed this on my Gypsy and used Plantin Schoolbook Roly Poly font cut at 3" for the Wildcats and welded the swish from Sports Mania, then slanted them.  I LOVES my Gypsy almost as much as my Expression!  The paw prints are from Disney Mickey and Friends cart.  The names are Plantin again, cut at 1".  The shirts were a hit and no one else has any just like them!  Thanks for stopping by!
