"Summer Days" Digi stamp

WOW!  What a busy week!  My daughter had to go out of town this week so Mon - Wed I had all three grandkids, finishing up with just the two girls.  This weekend Tim and I are helping with a 3 day Bible camp, so I had a lot of stuff to do to get ready for that.  We are going to stay in the RV so I was getting it ready to go and found a leak in the toilet and had to make a mad dash to Rogers, AR, to get a part and repair it, plus our phones have been out most of the week and the repairman came while I was trying to fix the RV leak.  Now only one of our 3 phones works!  And I still made a card this week!!!!  :-)  Actually I HAD to get to my quiet craft room and make something before I went crazy!

This is for the Designed 2 Delight challenge.  The stamp is their "Summer Days" digi.

I colored the stamp with colored pencils, ran the mat through my Cuttlebug and pop-dotted it.  The patterned paper is from The Paper Studio and that cute cupcake ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.  Well, I'm just barely going to get this posted to the Designed 2 Delight Challenge  before the deadline, so I better get going!  Thanks for stopping by!

Congrats Graduate Card

I actually completed ANOTHER project this week!  Woo Hoo!  I've admired so many of the tri-fold cards made with the new "Just A Note" cartridge.  Since it is exclusive to the E2, I don't have one.  SO, I got to work with my Gypsy and created a template to make them.

So how did I do?  I used rectangles from George & Basic shapes, welded together.  The "Congrats" is from Gypsy Wanderings  and the "Graduate" from "Alphalicious".  The grad hat is from "A Child's Year.  I didn't have a diploma cut, so I cut the scroll from "Calligraphy" and just used the bottom of it.  The patterned paper  and the gems are from  The Paper Studio and then I used my white gel pen.  Oh, and the stars are also from "George".

I hope you like it!  I'm entering this one in the challenge over at
My Craft Spot

I hope you have a great weekend.  I get to host an all day crop tomorrow!  YIPPEE!!!

Skater Dude!

Today I have a really fun card.  My grandson is only 17 months old, so I've only made girl stuff up until now!  This digi stamp from Designed 2 Delight  helped my kickstart my "boy card" creativity!

The card base is from Hobby Lobby, 4 x 5 1/2 size.  The patterned papers are from The Paper Studio, the buttons were from the sewing section at Wal-Mart, I made the sentiment on my computer, inked everything with Royal Blue ink and pop dotted the image.  I colored the image with Dual Brush Pens I just bought at Hobby Lobby.  I didn't use the Cricut at all.  How unusual for me!  I'll be entering this card in the following challenges:

I hope you like the card, and thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake card

So here is project number two!  This is a super easy card.  I made it to enter in the Cooking With Cricut  challenge.  In the pictures, the card looks kind of red, but it's actually a deep pink and the cupcake bottom is light pink. The challenge requires 2 shades of pink and a cake.

The card was made from the Doodlecharms cartridge card feature.  The lace on the front is sticky back paper lace I bought from LTD Commodities a few years ago.  The "icing" is cut from glitter paper and I ran the bottom of the cupcake through my paper crimper.  The #1 is cut from George and a cute Peachy Keen face finishes it off.  Super simple, but kind of cute! Thanks for checking in!

School Pictures layout

I think it's been a full week since I've been able to post a project!  I've been reorganizing a little bit in my craft area and it works so much better!  I've gotten 2 projects completed and one nearly done in the last couple of days!  The layout I'm posting tonight is my granddaughter's 2nd and 3rd grade pictures.  Yes, I'm still behind, they are finishing up 4th & 5th grades this year!

This came together so easily!  I love it when that happens!  The background cardstock is from Die Cuts With A View, Blossoms and Butterflies stack.  I bought a new Martha Stewart border punch and tried it out--- I LOVE IT!  The butterflies are cut from the Ashlyn's Alphabet cartridge and I used gold metallic paper from Best Occasions (Wal-Mart).  They really shine, but it's hard to tell in the pictures.  I'm going to post this layout in the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by and I'll hopefully be back soon to post more that I've gotten done!

Pail of Flowers digi stamp card

Hello Again!  I hope you had a great Mother's Day weekend.  I did, but it was also a very busy weekend!  Today I have another digistamp from Designed 2 Delight called "Pail of Flowers".   I printed the stamp at 2" and colored it 3 times to really create some layering.  The third layer is only 3 of the flowers.
I embossed the background piece with Cuttlebug text folder.  I thought that kind of fell in line with the sentiment stamp, which is from Hero Arts.

I inked the embossing and all edges, added some pop dots and some rhinestones from The Paper Studio.  The ribbon is from Wal-Mart and the patterned paper is from K & Company.  The paper is 12x12, but I cut a 4x12 strip, trimmed 1" from the length to make a 4x11 piece that I could fold in half and end up with a 4x5 1/2 card.  Then used the 1" piece to complete the inside.  This way I can get 3 cards from one sheet of paper!  Am I thrifty or what??  ;-)

I'll be submitting this card to the following challenges:
Designed 2 Delight
CAS-ual Fridays
My Craft Spot
More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday
The Paper Variety

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic day!

Fairytale Birthday Card

I haven't been able to get anything made and posted in awhile!  Today I have a card made with another Designed 2 Delight digi stamp.

The card base is 5 x 6 1/2 from Hobby Lobby.  The paper is from The Paper Studio "The Basics" stack.  The digistamp is called "Flutterby Fairy"; scalloped ovals are cut from Create a Critter; the embossing is Cuttlebug Swiss Dots; border punch is from Fiskars and the ribbon is from Wal-Mart.  I printed the sentiment on the computer, colored the stamp with colored pencils, added a little inking and pop-dotting and there you go!  A Fairytale Birthday.  I'll be entering this in the following challenges:
