Simple "True Friends" card

Hi!   I have a really simple friendship card today.  I'm still looking back through draft posts that I never posted and trying to get them used.  Here's a cute, very simple friendship card.

I scraplifted this card from someone and when I went back to list the magazine I thought I saw it in, it wasn't there!  So I went to a blog I thought it must have come from and it wasn't there either!  So I can't give credit to the inspiration, but her card was wonderful!

This is simply a green print cardstock base with strips of paper ribbon from Creative Memories.  The sentiment stamp is from Just Rite's Friendship set (I combined 2 stamps from the set)  and I added a few I-Rock gems.

How simple is that? No Cricut, no Digi, no coloring....whaaatttt?????  The card looks much prettier in real life and I'm very happy with how it turned out.

I'm entering this card here:

Outlawz - Sunday clean & simple, diamonds (rhinestones, glitter, Stickles...anything that glistens) and/or
                                                   pearls (used IRock gems)
Less Is More - anything goes
Eclectic Ellepu - Purplies-anything goes
Polka Doodles - add a twinkle

3D Christmas Lantern

Hey! I see I've just reached 100 followers!  So as soon as I get a picture of some goodies, I'll have a giveaway!  Keep watching for it!

It's time for a new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown!  We are  sponsored this time by the fantastic Creations by AR and our theme is "Something other than a card or tag".  I used the AR's cut file "Enchanted Lantern" to make a Christmas Lantern.

The poinsettia is a Silhouette cut file.  I think I made it plenty big, don't you?  I was making a smaller one, but tore it apart when I was tightening the brad in the middle and since I was running late getting my project posted, I just used the bigger one!  This cut file comes with 3 styles of lantern, so it's a really versatile file.  Be sure to go visit Creations by AR and see all the cool stuff!  Then be sure to check out all the beautiful inspiration from the DT and join us!

Thanks for stopping by!

I've entered this project here:

Die Cuttin' Divas - anything goes
Craftin' Desert Divas - Christmas in July
Eclectic Ellepu - Purples- anything goes
Crafter's Cafe - anything goes

"He Makes All Things Beautiful" Wedding card

Hi!  I made this card two weeks ago and failed to take a picture of it until last week, then I found it still in a draft form, just waiting patiently for me to get back to posting it.  I wasn't sure if I liked it and struggled with the layout of it, but I think I'm happy with the final product!

The couple diecut is from Silhouette, the circle diecuts are from Spellbinders and the stamp is from Just Rite.  I used a royal blue glitter paper and shiny gold foil paper.

I've entered these challenges:

Catch the Bug - Bingo:  circles, bling, texture
Eclectic Ellipu - Purplies - anything goes
The ABC Challenge blog - P is for Pearls(on the flower "bouquet"
The Crazy Challenge - die cuts or punches
613 Avenue Create - anything goes with option of party time (wedding)
The Outlawz - In the Good old Summertime (what says summertime better than a wedding in a gazebo?)

What a Busy Week!!!

Hi Folks!  I had a very busy week which called for a couple of busy weeks of preparation.  As a result, I missed a couple of DT challenges but I wanted to take a minute to get a post up promoting them.  At Tuesday Throwdown this week we are sponsored by
and our theme is "Take Us On Vacation"

Over at My Sheri Crafts Sue picked the theme of "Christmas In July, use lots of layers"!
Be sure to go by both of these challenges, check out all the great inspiration and join in the fun!  Hopefully I can back to my craft room soon.

We had our second "Rodeo Bible Camp" this week.  Last year we had around 20 campers and were excited to learn that it looked like we might have 35 this year.  Imagine our surprise when we had 50 on our first night!  Tuesday night brought 7 more and Wednesday we had 6 more!  Now we officially had a LOT of kids!  We taught them them basic horsemanship, barrel racing and pole bending basics, roping, goat tying and chute dogging.  And of course, there was a lot of Bible teaching!  We had such a great week and it was so exciting to see the confidence of these kids grow!  We had some who were terrified of riding a horse on Monday and Tuesday, but by Friday night at our "rodeo" they were riding and controlling their horses like old pro's!

Now on the Sports Crusaders basketball, soccer and cheer camp this week!  No time to take a break just yet!

You Make My Heart Smile - Popsicle Layout

I have a fun layout to share with you today.  It was fun to make, fun to look at and reminds me of a fun time with Wyatt!  I made this layout for our new challenge at My Sheri Crafts because our theme is "Food, Food and More Food! - Create any project that features any type of food cuts or embellishments."  Popsicles are food, right?

The paper is from my stash, I don't know the company.   I made this sentiment with Nate's ABC's font, arranged and welded together on my Gypsy.  The "Smile" part is from Create a Critter. The large popsicles and the border cuts are from Doodle Charms, the other popsicle is from....hmmmm...I can't remember which cartridge!

I added a little "shine" mark on every popsicle in the border strips with a white gel pen.  If you notice that the pictures have a loose edge or they aren't pritned with very high quality, it's because I haven't ordered prints on these yet, so I just printed them off on my computer with white cardstock so I would have them for the pictures to post.  I used repositionable glue so I can easily remove them when I get the good prints.
A couple of closer pics.....

Thanks for stopping by today, I appreciate the visit!  Now head on over to My Sheri Crafts, check out all the great inspiration and then join us at MSC!

Sympathy in Pink & Green

Hello!  Welcome and thank you for stopping by!  Today I have a card for our Tuesday Throwdown challenge, sponsored by Robyn's Fetish with a theme of Anything Goes!  I'll bet I see LOTS of you all there!

For this card I used Robyn's Fetish Lilly for a sympathy card:
This is mostly a one layer card, but I printed and colored a second copy of the lilly and pop-dotted it.  The sentiment, circle and border stamps are all from Just Rite.  The lilly is colord with Spectrum Noir markers

This inside sentiment is an "in and out" stamp from My Sentiments Exactly and I just used the "out" part of the stamp.

OK, now it's your turn!  Head on over to Tuesday Throwdown and join in the fun!
