Valentine Candles

Welllll....I've been on vacation ALL week and finally got to spend a little time in my craft room on Friday!  I made some candles for Valentine's Day that I took to my Flea Market booth.  I hope someone takes a shine to 'em!

This last one really isn't a Valentine candle, but I still like it!
Thanks for looking in!

I'm entering these in the challenge at:

Accidentally Tried a New Technique!

So I was using the sweet freebie from the Freebie Progressive Challenge over at The Outlawz to make this easel card.  I thought I would stamp the sentiment on a red die cut I've had in my "leftover" stash for awhile and I used white chalk ink.  It really didn't show up so I re-inked my stamp with black and stamped it again.  I didn't see it at first, but then I realized I had made kind of a shadow stamp with the white!  You can just barely see it in this picture, it mostly shows up by the flourish at the bottom:

Here is my card:

The beautiful paper and the outside stamp are freebies from Cardmaking and Paper Crafts magazine.  The inside stamp is from Touche'.  I just LOVE freebies, don't you?

Thanks for stopping by!

Anything Goes This Week!

Hello!  Today starts a new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown and it's Anything Goes!  Our sponsor this week is

I've used some freebie stamps I received with my latest issue of Cardmaking and Paper Craft magazine to get started on my Christmas cards:

Lots of embossing powder this week!  The embossing folder I've used is also a freebie from the magazine I received a couple of months ago.

This is the stamp set I received.  There's lots more playing to be done with this set!

Sending Christmas Wishes

I had some time to play with the cute image I got from the Freebie Progressive challenge over at The Outlawz this month.  I have had it colored for a little while but just got my card made and posted to the challenge in the nick of time!  The cute image is from Di's Digis.

I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers and added Buffalo Snow for dimensional snow and glitter on the little mouse's Santa hat.

I really did get this done in time for the November challenge, but every time I tried to upload my images, my computer would just wink at me at sit there!  Here it is a week later and finally SUCCESS!
