The Lord Gives Strength

This week at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday our theme is Anything Goes with the twist "Anything Goes!".  We are sponsored this month by

Stitchy Bear

This image is called "Tree On A Hill"

I used a distressing tool from Creative memories to rough up the edges of the image, then used Tim Holtz Distress Ink to antique it a bit. The burlap was a scrap piece left over from my candle projects that was just the right size.   The two different lables are Cricut cuts that I had in my stash, waiting to be used.

The outside stamp is from Just Rite and the inside stamp is from Close To My Heart.  The papers are all scraps and I LOVE it when i can use up stuff I've been saving!

Come on over to The Outlawz and check out the rest of the teams beautiful work and link up for a chance to win some great prizes!

"Remodeled" journal

Hi! Today brings a new challenge at My Sheri Crafts!  Peachy chose the theme " Welcome Spring - Let's welcome spring with a spring-themed project!" so I want to share a journal I bought in the $1 bin at Michaels a while back.

                   AFTER:

This beautiful paper from K & Co just looks like spring to me.  The sentiment stamp is from Studio G, the flowers, lace and ribbon are from my stash.  The ribbon covers the spine and also makes a bookmark!

Please stop by My Sheri Crafts to see all the beautiful inspiration from the DT and then join us.  I mean really, who isn't ready for Spring???

February Freebie Progessive Challenge

This month's Freebie Progressive at Challenge at The Outlaws is sponsored by Sandi Samples and here's the card I made with it:

The outside sentiment is from Hero Arts and it and the image are layered on Spellbinders dies.  Inside I used "Happy Birthday" from Close To My Heart and the other is from K Andrews "Take The Cake" set, they are framed by a Cricut cut frame.  Using the Cricut Explore and the new Design Studio image search, you can't always tell which cartridge the image came from!

Thanks for stopping by!

I used this little cutie from Stitchy Bear for a valentine card:

Sweet Anniversary Card

Hello!  It's Team A's turn for the post at Tuesday Throwdown!  We are sponsored this week by

I've used their "On Your Arm" digi stamp to make this anniversary card:

The image is colored with Spectrum Noir Markers, cut out and mounted on a  circle of handmade floral paper.  This is then mounted on a Spellbinders die with another circle of the light green paper under it to show off the pretty edge cut.  The white panel is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

The sentiment stamp is from Innie & Outie  and stamped onto a Cricut Craftroom Basics label.  The flowers are from my stash and I've decided I really need to quit taking them out of the package 'cause I can't remember who made them!

Come on over and join us for this super sweet week at Tuesday Throwdown!

Strawberry Parfait

It's time for another challenge at My Sheri Crafts!  This time it's my turn to host the challenge. February 20 is Cherry Pie Day! So let's see your cards or projects with a CHERRY or a PIE on them!

I cut this fun parfait from Cricu's Kate's ABC's cartridge I cut the base image from white, then cut the top layer in vellum to make it look like a glass.  I love the look of that base!  The "doily" under it is a Spellbinder's fancy circle cut stamped with a Just Rite doilie stamp.  The sentiment is from Pink By Design, Take the Cake set and the "cherry" is a red gem, then I've drawn a leaf and stem.

I hope you'll join us for this fun, yummy challenge!  Be sure to check out all the beautiful creations from the rest of the team!
