Baby Congrats Easel Card

It's Thursday and that means a new challenge at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday!  We are sponsored this week by
https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/LeeHIllustrations

Challenges in our Twisted Thursday group are always Anything Goes with an Optional twist!  This week the twist is "Make an Easel Card".

Lee generously gave us this digi to used and I made a card for my niece:

I wanted the teddy bear to look fuzzy, so I used the "dot"technique with Spectrum Noir markers.

The scalloped oval is a cut from the Cricut Easter 2010 cartridge, then the other ovals were cut with  the Creative Memories system.  The airplane and banner are from the "New Arrival" cartridge and the sentiment stamp is from Pink By Design.  I love that stamp because it's a pretty script and small enough for these little cuts.

Do you ever find that you've bought something you were just sure you would use a lot, so you bought several colors of it?  Well, several years ago those little safety pins in white, pink, blue, green and yellow......this is the first time I've used any of them!   Oh well.....I've got 'em if I need 'em!

Anyway, come on over to The Outlawz and see all the great inspiration from the other Designers and join us for a chance at some great prizes!

It's A Teddy Bear Halloween

It's Halloween time over at My Sheri Crafts and Peach is hosting our challenge this week with the theme "Black Magic - Create a Halloween Project".  Well, my project doesn't really remind me of "Black Magic", but it is for Halloween!  I got the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge a while back and finally got to use it!

I used a little scrap oval from the cut to put on his nose because I figured he would have painted his nose orange for this costume. :-)  "Boo" is cut from the Disney Pixar cartridge and I added a piece of black ribbon from my stash to finish it off.

Have a safe and fun Halloween!

Frankenstein & His Bride

Hi!  It's time for another fun challenge over at Tuesday Throwdown
Our sponsor this week is http://www.doodlepantry.com/
and our theme is "Halloween Colors"  I

I used the image set "Harvest Bounty" and used the "Tree & Fence" image from the set as a background for some fun little 3D stickers from  that I found in my stash.

I colored "Tree & Fence" with Spectrum Noir markers, cut it out with a Spellbinders die, then inked it with purple and green before adding the stickers.  For the inside, I printed the sentiment from Silhouette Design Studio, then completed it the same as the front.  Simple, but cute!

So please head over to Tuesday Throwdown, check out all the great inspiration and then join us!  See ya there!

I've entered this card here:

An Autumn Bulletin Board

Fall and Spring are my favorite two seasons.  I love the smell of spring and all the green coming back, but I REALLY love Fall!  The fantastic colors, the crisp air, cool evenings.  God really blessed us with a beautiful creation to enjoy!

I work at our church and one of my responsibilities is to collaborate with another secretary and keep our bulletin boards decorated.  This is our Fall board and it's a perfect match for the new challenge at My Sheri Crafts!  Marge hosted this challenge and gave us the theme "Autumn Abundance - Use Fall items that are seen in abundance, like leaves, acorns, fruits, pumpkins, gourds, etc."  Well, I think I've got that covered here!

Isn't that colorful!  I love that tree!  I have to give full credit to Tammy for that part!  The Cricut cartridges used on this project were Disney Classics, Create a Critter and I honestly can't remember what the grass cut is from.  I did that back in the spring, but I've used that cut several times.

I just love those cute Chip & Dale and Jimminy Cricket cuts!  This was a really fun board!

So, grab some paper and get creating!  Hope to see you over at My Sheri Crafts!

A Cabin Christmas

It's Thursday and that means a new challenge at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday!  We are sponsored this week by

Challenges in our Twisted Thursday group are always Anything Goes with an Optional twist!  This week the twist is "Outdoor Theme".

This time I've used a digi from Robyn's Fetish called "A Cabin In The Woods" and made a very rustic Christmas Card.

I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir Markers, punched it out with a Spellbinders die.  I've distressed it with Tim Holz distress ink and the papers are from My Minds Eye.  The sentiment is a Inkadinkadoo stamp.

What do you think?  It's a very different type of Christmas card than my usual, and I really like it!

So please head over the The Outlawz Twisted Thursday and join in the fun!  You can find a challenge for every day of the week at The Outlawz!

Spectrum Noir markers used:  DG3, DG4, Tan4, Tan5, Tan1, JG3, JG4, IG1, IG2, Ig3, BG1, TB1.

Tuesday Throwdown #216

It's Team A's turn to post at Tuesday Throwdown and we are sponsored by
with the theme "Button Up!"   I used RF image "Daisy Days" to make a "Thinking of You" card:

I've had this ribbon for  couple of years and I think I've used it once before!  The stamp is one I bought at a yard sale at least 4 years ago and it doesn't even have a name on it.  Other than that I've used Spectrum Noir markers, a Spellbinders die and buttons from my Mom's button stash.

Please check out all the DT inspiration over at Tuesday Throwdown and I hope you'll join us!

First Post with The Outlawz!

WooHoo!  It's finally time for my First Post with The Outlaws Twisted Thursday challenge!!

We are sponsored this week by

Challenges in our Twisted Thursday group are always Anything Goes with an Optional twist!  This week the twist is "Taking A Ride".

Lee generously gave us this cute digi to work with and here's what I made:

The background cut is from Cricut's Paper Lace cartridge. And the image and sentiment are on Spellbinders cuts.  The "Hi" are little letter stamps from The Paper Studio.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers.  Just for fun, I colored the bike just like the one had as a kid, but mine had a banana seat!.  Do you remember those?  Mine was sparkly purple!  :o)

This stamp is from Stampendous.  This was a really fun card to make and I like the bright, happy colors!

I'd love to have you join our group at The Outlawz! You do have to become a member to join in the challenges, but it's free and you get welcomed by the designers!  There are new challenges every day of the week and lots of great sponsors and prizes.  Come join in the fun!
