My First Christmas card of the year!

Hi!  I hope you're having a great weekend!  It's time for a new challenge over at My Sheri Crafts and this week we're being angelic!  :)  Peachy set the theme this week:  August 22 is "Be An Angel Day". Let's feature projects with an angel/angels in them!

I went to my favorite angel cut which is from Cricut cartridge "Christmas/Noel" and used silver foil paper for the angels.

The background paper is some leftover from last year's Christmas cards and it's printed with Cricut Imagine cartridge "Snow Angel".  I really like this paper!

The sentiment stamp is from Stampabilities and I've used embossing powder on it.  Now the crazy thing is, I've had this set of embossing powder for 3 or 4 years and never used the gray tube because I just never wanted anything embossed in gray.  But I've wished I could find a nice silver powder for a LONG time.  So imagine my surprise when I decided to try this gray and see how it came's a beautiful SILVER!  I've had it all along!  Sometimes I'm just really slow!

Anyway, this is a really Clean and Simple card and I liked the way it turned out.  So now, find your inner angel and come join us at My Sheri Crafts!

  1. Sarah, your CAS card is just so lovely too. I would never have the courage to cut that on my Cricut but yours has come out perfect.

  2. Sarah, what a delightful surprise to find out the powder was actually silver! What a lovely card too!

  3. Good for you on getting your Christmas cards going!! The snowy background is gorgeous!! Love this! HUGS
