Hi!!! It's a beautiful February day as I'm typing this and I hope you are enjoying the weather wherever you are. I have just a slight touch of Spring Fever, but I know it's too soon to work in my flower garden so I'm not suffering too much yet. Wait until March! Boy then I'll be wanting to get started and that's still too soon!
It's Tuesday, so we have a new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown! I love this theme --- "Heart Strings - show hearts and string/twine". Our sponsor is the wonderful
and I had the privilege of picking out the digital set we got to work with this week. I used "Love Owls" from the set to make my valentine.
I love how it turned out...just my own opinion! :)
The background paper and the beaded swirls are both from The Paper Studio. I cut the swirl in half and kind of reshaped it to fit my design. The dotted ribbon is from American Crafts. The image is colored with Spectrum Noir markers and cut out with a Spellbinders die, then mounted on a scalloped circle Cricut cut. The heart doilie was the finishing touch I felt the card needed. I played around for quite some time placing things before I decided on that!
Thanks for stopping by and I sure hope you'll join us this week!
Sarah, I love how this turned out as well. All the bits and pieces really tie together and show off the image. Great card.
