The Old Tractor

Hello!  Today I have another Design Team card to share for Tuesday Throwdown.  We are sponsored this week by

and our theme is "Texture".

I used our sponsors image "The Old Tractor", precolored, for my card:

I used a piece of burlap for the background texture and knotted a piece of twine to look somewhat like barbed wire. I tore the edges of the image and used distress ink.  The wheat is a Cricut diecut.  It's from the "Botanicals" cartridge.

Now for my reality........

I see a little problem here!  Oh well, I just cut off the front and glued it to another card. Right side up this time!

Thanks for stopping by and, as always, I hope you'll join us at Tuesday Throwdown!

Oh my goodness - I feel right at home with your mistake that is - hehehehhe - but as my college art teacher explained - there are no mistakes in art - so there you go - you just continue from where you left off and I can see you are doing that for sure - this is so wonderful with the fabulous burlap added - nice job and makes me want to watch Green Acres---- It's the place for me - Farm living... ok, ok, I stopped singing - glad to be on the team - have a blessed week

  3. Was it wrong of me to laugh out loud? You know I was laughing with you, not at you, right? And only because I can admit to doing something like this... Great card in the end and a fun journey creating. Love the burlap and twine effect; so perfect for the image. Seriously, a wonderful card.

  4. Been there/done that so many times it's ridiculous! LOL But what a great card this is! I love the burlap with that sprig of wheat and it's brilliant how you tied twine to look like barbed wire! This is just fabulous and perfect for anyone who's ever done farming!
