It's a Heatwave!

This week at Tuesday Throwdown our theme is "Heatwave" - use "HOT" colors.  We are sponsored by http://www.winniewalter.com/  and I've used their awesome stamp set "In Bloom:  Shirley's Blooms" to make a 50th anniversary card:

The background paper is from a 4.5 x 6.5 Die Cuts With a View pack called "Pocket Full of Posies".  I've had this pack for YEARS!  I think I mentioned in another post that I pulled out a pile of 4.5 x 6.5 and 6x6 pads that I've had forever and very seldom use.  I've committed to using them for my cards as much as possible, so here's 2 now.  Wow...really getting after that stack, aren't I?

Anyway....the white diecut is a Spellbinder's die and the pink diecut is a Cricut cut, circle doily from the Edge to Edge cartridge set.  I've added some clear "Raindrops" and "Iridescent Bubbles" from Studio Katia for a little sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by and I sure hope you'll join us this week!
