Handmade paper Birthday card

Here is a card I made with handmade paper from The Paper Studio. I submitted this card to the Peachy Keen Stamps Tuesday sketch challenge and to the Birthday Sundaes challenge.

These papers have real flowers pressed into them and are really pretty pastel shades.  You have to be pretty careful with the paper, it is possible to pop the petals off.  I have also found that when you cut them with a paper trimmer, it's better to move the blade onto the paper a little bit and cut backward to the edge, then across the full cut.  Don't start at the edge to cut, sometimes the paper wads up.  The ribbon is from Wal-Mart and the stamp is from Hero Arts.  It's a very simple card, but I like how it turned out.  Maybe because I like pink???
