Happy Saturday! Did you do a lot of Black Friday shopping? Not me, I sent my list with my daughter! :) Last year was the first time I had ever gone to Wal-Mart during the "Power Hours" and that was enough for me! I hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving season with your family and friends. We have another dinner yet and then it's full swing Christmas season!
Over at My Sheri Crafts we are celebrating that it " 'Tis The Season" and we have been asked to "Create a card/project that represents what you (or someone you know) celebrates during this time of year (Hanukkah,Christmas ,Kwanzaa etc) We celebrate Christmas at our house, honoring the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Here is my card:
The card base is an A2 size, cut from cardstock, edged with a Creative Memories Wavy Edge cutter. I cut a matching piece from Hobby Lobby's 2010 Christmas paper.
The ornament is from the Christmas cartridge, 4 layers. I heat embossed it twice with clear embossing powder then added gold sparkly ribbon from Wal-Mart.
This label is a Spellbinders Lables die and the stamp is from Just Rite. I used a gold paint pen around the edge of of the label.
I really hope you will join us this week to share a little bit about your celebration over at My Sheri Crafts . Be sure to also check out the awesome creations from the rest of the team! See you later!

My favorite color... blue :) Well, I certainly never thought about mixing gold with royal blue but this has definitely a great effect. Beautiful ornament and love the metallic gold pen around the Spellbinder die. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThe ornament that you made for the card is exquisite enough to be hung at the tree! What a pretty card!
