Fall Box Decor

Hello again!  It's time for a new challenge at My Sheri Crafts and I have such a fun project to share!  Sandy has challenged us with the theme "First Day of Fall - Make a Fall Card or Project".

The other day I was at Hobby Lobby and found some super cute "Pumpkin" blocks that said "FALL" on them and I a-l-m-o-s-t bought them, but decided not to.  That very evening when I was catching up on email, I found My Scrap Chick had a cutting file to make the very same boxes with paper and right now it's on sale for $1(I paid $5)!  I was so happy!  I bought it right away and got started cutting!

I cut the file without resizing and it's perfect!  All I added was some inking and some raffia bows.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like what you found here!  Please come join us over at My Sheri Crafts!

Every Flower Digi Stamp card

Whew, I think I'm just getting this card in under the wire!  This is the Designed2Delight digi stamp of the week and the card I made with it.

I colored the image with Dual Brush Pens and cut it out with the 4x6 oval cutter from Creative Memories.
The patterened paper is from My Minds Eye, the orange mat is textured cardstock and the ribbon is from my stash.  It came in a set that I think I got from LTD.
Ink the egdges, add some pop dots, make a mat for the inside and Voila'!  It's really a simple card, but I like the way it turned out and the colors are nice.  The patterned paper matches the shape of the leaves in the image almost perfectly.  I'm thinking about printing the image again and using the colors from this paper to color the flowers.  Wonder how that would look?   I'll show you if I do!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Pumpkin Digi Stamp Card

It's time for another Designed 2 Delight digistamp challenge.  This is the "Stitched Pumpkin" stamp.

This card measures 5 1/2" x 6".  I used textured cardstock for the base.  The orange mat is from some paper I bought a couple of years ago at Hobby Lobby in a clearance pack that had been opened.  I don't know the brand.  The green mat was a scrap (you can't see it in the picture but it has little tiny leaves embossed on it) and the twine was on a box of something I had ordered.

I colored the stamp with my Dual Brush Pens and used some glitter glue to add a little sparkle.  It's kind of hard to see, but there really is a lot of sparkle!  The buttons were also some I've had in my stash awhile.
The little stamp in the corner is from The Paper Studio and all edges were inked with Basil Leaf ink.

When I started this project, I really didn't know what I was going to do.  I didn't have a plan, but I think it all came together o.k. and the end result was pretty good.    I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by!
