Gazebo Wedding

Welcome Bloggies!  It's time for a new challenge at My Sheri Crafts and Sheri has challenged us to "Use any Style of Bunting or Banners".  This was a fun challenge and led to a fun card.  I  have an order for a couple of wedding cards and this challenge theme was perfect to get me working on them.  Here's my first card for the order:

Inside I used a "Congratulation" stamp.  The Cricut cartridges I used were: Wedding, Garden Soup, Indie Art and Christmas Seasonal.  The wedding colors were dark navy and Fall colors.  That's why the silhouette couple is brown.  The bows are a little more orange than they show here so with the red hearts, green writing and the inside stamp is green also, I think I got all the Fall colors represented in the card!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll check out all the other great Banner & Bunting inspiration of the rest of the team, then join us!

Guest Designer for Die Cuttin' Divas Again!

Hi!  I get to be Guest Designer again over at Die Cuttin' Divas and the theme this week is "Fall Is Here!"  Make anything Fall relagted, but be sure to include at least one diecut!

I used the Cricut Cartridge Garden Soup, border function to make the flowers and added gems from Recollections.  The sentiment stamp is from Studio G.   Added a little ribbon, inked the edges with brown and that's it!  Come on over and join in the fun at Die Cuttin Divas!

I Won Some Blog Candy!

Welcome to another challenge at Creative Craft Challenges!  This week we want to see you "Bling It Up"!  Our sponsor for this challenge is Dustin Pike.

A while back Michele over at Thoughts of a Card Making Scrapbooker gave away two Garden Soup cartridges.  I was blessed to be one of the winners!   YAY!!  I made her a Thank You card using the cartridge to show her how much I appreciate the gift.  I'd like to share that card with you today:
I cut the base at 5 1/2 x 6 from yellow textured cardstock.  The striped paper is from    and the green floral paper is from .

This flower is cut at 2 1/2" and the leaves are 1 1/2".  The flower layers are only glued in the middle so the edges could be curled to add some dimension.
I really liked this cute border cut that matches the flower.  I used to of them to go across the card.

The sentiment cut is the only one not on this cartridge.  It comes from Cindy Loo.  There is no shadow cut for it, so I cut it once in pink at 1"  and again in green at 1.2"

I did some doodling with a white gel pen and added some bling until I thought I better stop before over indulging! :)
The inside is finished out with some scraps of the patterned paper and there you have it!

Thanks for stopping in today!  I hope you are having a wonderful week and get your bling on and join us!!!

A Floral Thank You!

Hello and Happy Wednesday!  I hope you've been having a good week and looking forward to a great weekend.  Today (actually it's tonight!) I want to share a card with you that I sent to Michele over at Thoughts of  Cardmaking Scrapbooker.  She recently gave away a couple of Garden Soup cartridges and I won one of them!  WOOHOO!!!  So I used the cartridge to make a Thank You card for her.

This flower was cut at 2.5" and the edges of each petal have been curled just a bit.  The leaves are cut at 1.5" in two different colors.
This cutie is from the border feature cut at 1.03".  I used two of them.
The "Thank You" is the only cut on this card that is not from this cartridge.  It's from Cindy Loo at 1.2"   As you can tell from a couple of odd sizes, I laid this all out in my Gypsy!
I really like the look of a finished inside and it doesn't take long to cut a couple of strips from your scraps!  I added some bling from The Paper Studio and lots of doodling with a white gel pen and there you go!

I received an email from Michele today letting me know she received the card, so I knew it was safe to post it now!  She seemed pleased with it and I hope you like it, too!

I'm also entering this card at Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog
