#1 Dad - Cowboy Style

Time for another Twist and The Outlawz Twisted Thursday!  This week we are sponsored by

As always, our challenges are "Anything Goes with a Twist".
This week's twist is "Father's Day or Nature".

I really liked this old cowboy from our sponsor!  I've colored him with Spectrum Noir markers and used up some scrap pieces of paper and burlap with a little rope to embellish it.  The "#1 dad" is a Silhouette cut, and I antiqued the paper with some Tim Holtz Distress Ink.

Be sure to head over to  Twisted Thursday to check out all the other fun and fantastic inspiration, then join in!  See you there!

DAD card

Hello and WELCOME to my blog!  I'm so glad you dropped by!  We have a new challenge at My Sheri Crafts today and our DT sister Sandy has set the theme of  "Anything Masculine".  Easy Peasy, right?  Here's my card:

Super simple, super fun card!  I made this with my Gypsy and with my new Silhouette Portrait.  The die cut is from the Silhouette store and the sentiment is computer generated.

Head on over to My Sheri Crafts and check out the other beautiful inspiration projects, then join in the fun!

I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Simple Father's Day Card

Hello and Happy Saturday!!!  It's time for another challenge at My Sheri Crafts and this week we are recognizing Father's Day.  Let's Celebrate The Men In Our Lives!

My card is pretty simple, but I like the way it turned out.  It's made completely from scraps!

The background is made with  the negative pieces left on the mat after I cut a background page from Paper Lace.

I used a gold gel pen and doodled around each piece, then placed them on a diagonal.  The sentiment is backed by a scrap of shiny gold cardstock and then I used a Fiskars border punch across the bottom.  Easy Peasy!

So now it's your turn!  Celebrate your men and join us at My Sheri Crafts.  You just may be our next Guest Designer!
