I have this fun stamp that I won from Fresh Brewed Designs through the Link Up For Pink challenge sometime last year and had never used. Well, this week our theme at Tuesday Throwdown is to "Make An Awareness Card" (i.e. Breast Cancer, MS, Leukemia, PCOS, Heart Disease, etc.) so I decided it's a perfect time to use my stamp!
The papers are all from my stash and the XOXO and pink circle papers are scraps. The cute dotted ribbon is from this week's sponsor- Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I heat embossed the stamp in white and added a little "bow" with more of the dotted ribbon, then cut it out with Creative Memories circle cutters.
The paper flowers have been in my stash for a LONG time, the brad was included in some things I bought from a friend.
Isn't that a fun card? I really enjoyed using it and send another late "Thank You" to Fresh Brewed Designs for the stamp! Now come on over to Tuesday Throwdown and join us with your awareness card!
On a more serious note, as you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I honor my mother who lost her fight with breast cancer that had spread to the bone back in 1993. 20 years ago in December. It sure doesn't seem that long! I also honor my sister who is a breast cancer survivor-16 years ago! Be proactive ladies! Get 'em checked!

2nd Breast Cancer Awareness Card
OK, here's my second card. The stamp is from K Andrews.
I cut a doilie in half for the edges and the ribbon is a scrap from my stash.
On the inside I used another 1/2 of a doilie cut in half again for the corners. The mat is preinstalled on the Imagine and inked with pink.

Breast Cancer Support Cards
The sentiment is computer generated and just add strips of ribbon! The breast cancer ribbon is actually mounted on top of a wider pink polka-dot ribbon. Very CAS, don't you think?
I've tried to show all the shine to this card. I like pink and white together, so this card really appeals to me.
Thanks for stopping by! I'd love it if you left me a comment! I hope you have a blessed day!

Breast Cancer Card #2
Wow, look at me! Two cards in one weekend! This is another card for my friend. I thought it would be good to have some made up ahead so I can send her one every now and then along her journey. Thank you for the prayers on her behalf, her appointment brought some good news and the surgery is set for the 19th. Please remember her and her family that day.
So, on to the card:
There's just something really pretty about pink and white, don't you think? The Butterfly is a digistamp by Faith at Designed to Delight. The border punch is from Paper Studio and I used my Cuttlebug and a Cuttlebug folder to emboss the light pink vellum.
I colored the butterflies with colored pencils and then used a glue pen to dot a little glue in each circle on the wings, then added silver glitter.
The inside is finished out with more vellum and a mat using the same punch. It looks a little plain inside, but I'm not sure what I would do different.
Anyway, this one will be entered in the following challenges:
Designed To Delight - Hope Butterfly
Link Up For Pink
Celebrate the Occasion #33 - Breast Cancer Awareness
Flutterby Wednesday - Open, just use a butterfly or fairy
Love To Crop - use embossing
Thank you again for stopping by today!

Breast Cancer Card
As I'm sure you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Looking through a few challenge blogs, I found a couple requiring pink, some requiring breast cancer awareness, one requiring swirls and one requiring a ribbon loop. This card just all came together in my mind and it turned out just like I hoped. But before I get to the card, I would ask that you please remember my friend in prayer. She just found out she has breast cancer and meets with the surgeon Tuesday, Oct. 4 to find out how extensive it is and what the treatment plan is. This card is for her.
The card base is from Hobby Lobby. I used my Cuttlebug and a Quickutz swirls folder to emboss the front, then chalked it with pink. The flowers are some I bought from a friend who was selling all of her supplies and all edges are inked with pink.

The tag was cut from Storybook, the pink layer at 2" and the white at 1 3/4". The sentiment I created on my computer.
Inside is the same tag cut at 3 1/2" and 3 1/4".
I hope you like the card, I'm pretty pleased with it. I'll be entering this card in the following challenges:
My Sheri Crafts - Think Pink
Link Up For Pink - They actually asked me to link up! :)
CASual Fridays - Ribbon loops
Do You Stack Up - swirls
More Than Favors - Breast Cancer
Thanks for stopping by and again, please remember my friend in your prayers!
