An Autumn Bulletin Board

Fall and Spring are my favorite two seasons.  I love the smell of spring and all the green coming back, but I REALLY love Fall!  The fantastic colors, the crisp air, cool evenings.  God really blessed us with a beautiful creation to enjoy!

I work at our church and one of my responsibilities is to collaborate with another secretary and keep our bulletin boards decorated.  This is our Fall board and it's a perfect match for the new challenge at My Sheri Crafts!  Marge hosted this challenge and gave us the theme "Autumn Abundance - Use Fall items that are seen in abundance, like leaves, acorns, fruits, pumpkins, gourds, etc."  Well, I think I've got that covered here!

Isn't that colorful!  I love that tree!  I have to give full credit to Tammy for that part!  The Cricut cartridges used on this project were Disney Classics, Create a Critter and I honestly can't remember what the grass cut is from.  I did that back in the spring, but I've used that cut several times.

I just love those cute Chip & Dale and Jimminy Cricket cuts!  This was a really fun board!

So, grab some paper and get creating!  Hope to see you over at My Sheri Crafts!

I've entered this project here:

Bitten by the Bug 2 - Autumn Leaves are Falling
Crafting With Dragonflies - anything goes
Cut It Up Challenges - anything but a card

Guest Design Spot for Love To Crop!

Hello!  I am so honored to be the Guest Designer at Love To Crop this week!  Thank you, Amy!  The challenge this week is to use CIRCLES on your project.  Please come over and join the fun!  Here is my card, which will go to a little girl in my Sunday School class, whose birthday I missed.

The card base is made of two circles cut at 3"(shadow cut) from George & Basic Shapes, welded together on my Gypsy.  The background and layer are 3" basic circles.   I used Disney Classics for the rabbit (March Hare, isn't he?), cut at 2 3/4".  That pink shadow layer is really not that neon shade that it appears to be!
"I'm Late!", the large watch hands and the pocket watch are all cut from gold foil paper from Wal-Mart.  This picture kind of shows the shine.  I used Disney Pooh Font for the sentiment.
I love the great cuts on the Disney cartridges, but GEE WHIZZERS some of the pieces are so tiny!  Those little glasses and the pink in his right eye were almost too small for my tweezers!
All the edges were inked with brown and a little cupcake ribbon from Hobby Lobby and there you go!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a great crafting weekend and I can't wait to see your projects linked up on Love To Crop!
