Strawberry Gift Bag - Tuesday Throwdown #164

Hello my friends!  Thank you for coming by today!  It's Team a's turn for this week's challenge at Tuesday Throwdown and our theme is.......Anything Goes!  We are sponsored this week by My Heart Pieces and I used their "Baby Bees" image to make a little gift bag.

I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and cut it out with a Spellbinder's die, then inked the edges with red.  I added a little bit of red and yellow twine from The Twinery, then mounted the image onto a piece of green gingham cloth from an upholstery/drapery sample book that a friend gave me.  That is mounted onto a piece of red cardstock, then a sheet of red gingham paper.  Some red gems in the corners from my stash finish off the bag.

I decided a strawberry gift tag would be the perfect finishing touch.  The cut is from Savory (I think) and I used my Gypsy to weld and create the base.

Well, that's it!  Now head on over to Tuesday Throwdown and check out all the great inspiration there, then join us!  Have a great week!

Time for a New Challenge at My Sheri Crafts!

Hello and Happy Saturday to you!  I hope you are having a nice, craft filled weekend.  It's time for some "Warm Winter Wishes" and a new challenge at My Sheri Crafts.  The weather is so cold around this time of the year that we should wish our friends warm thoughts and wishes! Examples would be anything warm such as fires, warm soup, baking, hot cocoa! Use your imagination!

I love to make shaped cards.  This cup of cocoa is from the Savory cartridge, cut at 4".  I used my Gypsy to weld two of the shadow cuts together. The paper is from K&Co. The sentiment is a Stampabilities stamp, but the Savory cut included the word Cocoa so I didn't ink up that part of the stamp.
No cup of cocoa would be complete without "marshmallows" (aka little pieces torn off a cotton ball, rolled up and dotted with glue to hold them in shape)
"Cocoa" is pop dotted for a little dimension and on the inside I used the blackout feature  to cut the cup again from cream colored paper.

Simple, but kind of pretty!

Thanks for checking in today and now it's time to warm up your craftiness and join in the fun at My Sheri Crafts!  You could be the Guest Designer for our next challenge!

Have a great weekend!
